MODERN SLAVERY POLICY

Azile Limited (trading as Azile Cares)

Last updated: June 2026

1. Introduction

Azile Limited (trading as Azile Cares) (“the Company”) is committed to preventing modern

slavery and human trafficking in all its forms. This commitment reflects the Company’s ethical

responsibilities as a provider of care and support services, where safeguarding vulnerable

individuals and ensuring ethical workforce practices are central to safe and effective service

delivery.

Although the Company does not meet the financial threshold requiring a formal statement

under section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, it voluntarily adopts a proportionate, risk-

based approach aligned with the principles of the Act. This approach is embedded within the

Company’s overall governance, recruitment and safeguarding frameworks.

The Company maintains a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of modern slavery, including

forced labour, servitude, human trafficking and exploitation.

2. Scope of Commitment

This statement applies to all individuals working for or on behalf of the Company, including

employees, contractors, agency workers and third-party partners. The Company expects all

individuals and organisations it works with to uphold the same standards of ethical and lawful

conduct.

3. Risk Context

The Company recognises that risks of modern slavery may arise within the care sector,

particularly in relation to recruitment practices, workforce supply chains and the use of third-

party labour providers.

Additional risk factors include the use of external recruitment agencies or intermediaries, the

engagement of migrant or vulnerable workers, dependency relationships within employment

arrangements and reduced visibility within extended supply chains. The Company considers

these risks as part of its wider safeguarding and governance responsibilities.

4. Recruitment and Workforce Controls

The Company applies robust recruitment and workforce assurance processes to reduce the risk

of modern slavery. These include verification of identity, confirmation of legal right to work in

the United Kingdom, employment history and reference checks, and, where appropriate,

criminal record checks.

The Company also takes reasonable steps to ensure that all individuals enter into working

arrangements voluntarily and with a clear understanding of terms. These processes are

designed to ensure that all individuals are engaged fairly, lawfully and transparently.

5. Third-Party Relationships

Where the Company engages third-party organisations, it expects those organisations to operate

in accordance with applicable laws and ethical standards. Where concerns are identified, the

Company may seek further assurances, apply additional oversight or discontinue the

relationship where appropriate.

6. Safeguarding Approach

Modern slavery is recognised as a form of abuse and is managed as part of the Company’s

safeguarding responsibilities. Where concerns arise, the Company may escalate matters to

relevant external bodies including local authorities, regulators or law enforcement.

7. Reporting Concerns

The Company promotes a culture where concerns can be raised safely and without fear of

retaliation. Concerns may be reported internally or externally, and all reports are treated

confidentially.

8. Training and Awareness

Staff receive appropriate awareness training on identifying and responding to signs of modern

slavery. This is reinforced through supervision and organisational communication.

9. Governance and Continuous Improvement

The Company regularly reviews recruitment, safeguarding and operational systems to ensure

effectiveness. Improvements are implemented as part of continuous improvement.

10. Approval

This statement has been approved by the Directors of Azile Limited and reflects the Company’s

position as of June 2026.

This policy forms part of Azile Limited’s wider governance framework and is available on

request.
